Lovely staff! Very friendly and nice atmosphere coffee, cake and toasties are amazing! Thank you
Proper cafe! Great coffee, sandwiches (smashed avocado & feta), friendly smiling staff and good prices. At the time of writing, this is the best cafe I know for miles around here. Toilets are clean and have baby changing. Can't recommend enough!
Today, I visited Marmalade and ordered four coffees and three sandwiches to take away. While the food and drinks were, as always, absolutely delicious, what really stood out was the incredible kindness of the staff. Since I was alone, I found it quite tricky to carry everything by myself. But to my surprise, the amazing team at Marmalade went above and beyond—they didn’t just offer to help, a member of staff actually walked with me all the way to the Sainsbury’s car park, carrying some of the drinks! That level of service and care is something you don’t come across every day. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Marmalade. It’s these small acts of kindness that make a place truly special. Highly recommend this gem of a coffee shop—not just for the great coffee and food but also for the outstanding customer service! Best Mars
Two of the best coffees we've had in a long time, pleasant staff and atmosphere. So much better than the awful chain coffee shops
Took my elderly father here after visiting the opticians for lunch. The toasties are lovely. Good coffee. The toilet was accessible for my disabled father. They had a ramp to get into the door but there was a metal door stop to get over which was a bit tricky but I managed it myself. Would definitely visit again.
The vegan 'sausage' roll (4.50) is my go-to brunch snack with a 2.80 flat white. Tasty and good value for money, with friendly service and an overall great vibe. The nicest coffee spot in the 'West End' (of Wantage ;). Edit: As a regular customer I fully support the 'no laptops' rule (but obviously don't support any rudeness). Staff cannot be expected to somehow police those working on laptops/tablets and those just browsing the internet. So maybe just adhere to the polite request and take 15 minutes enjoying your coffee offline? It's doubly good for you
This is a fantastic little coffee shop with great service, brilliant coffee, and fresh cakes. I love popping in here when in town.
Very lovely minimalist coffee shop in Wantage town centre. It's simple, it's quiet, and it's comfy. They have signs posted stating no laptops. The food is delicious. The coffee tasty. The prices are good. And it's in the pedestrian area. Go check it out and support local small businesses.
